Dorothy Ann Perry (Kennedy)

Roger Lee Thomason, 39, a farmer in the Burton area and Roberts area, died Aug. 15, 1987, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from injuries received in a motorcycle accident July 5 in Madison County.

He was born Nov. 30, 1947, at Rigby, to Charles and Doralee Anderson Thomason.  He attended Burton Elementary, Madison High School, Ricks College, and graduated with honors in agronomy from Brigham Young University.

He was an active member of the LDS Church.

He married Sonja Lee Carlson Dec. 26, 1972, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.  He worked with his brothers in farming in the Burton and Roberts area.

Survivors are his wife of Rexburg, 2 daughters: Lee Ann Thomason and Valerie Thomason both of Rexburg; his parents, Charles and Doralee Thomason of Rexburg; four brothers: Warren Thomason, Byron Thomason, Nicholad Thomason and Greg Thomason, all of Rexburg; three sisters: Lolita Shirley of Rexburg, Lynnea Holley of Salt Lake City, and Anne Marie Neville of Hailey.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Burton LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Val H. Brizzee officiating.  Burial will be in the Burton Cemetery.

Roger we have been all through grade school.jr high.and high school.

I was out of town when you passed away and missed your funeral.

You went much to young and I missed talking to you and enjoying our friendship.
